a journey of devotion
Kirtan is an ancient devotional practice that uses singing of mantras (japa). It is also known as Bhakti Yoga — the yoga of devotion, or the yoga of love. When ancient Sanskrit mantras are wrapped in luscious layers of music, the result is a treat for all the senses that can have a profound impact on your well-being. Kirtan is known to open the heart chakra unlike any other practice, allowing you to connect with your true nature, as well as others.
The Infinite Compassion Orchestra blends the traditions of East and West on instruments from India, Europe, North America, Africa, and beyond. At the heart of our music is mantra — the sacred syllables also known as “the many names of God.” Sing along and you’ll feel why this path is pure bliss.
